PleinAir magazine article on Urban Sketching

I’m honoured to have been featured in an article on Urban Sketching inside the PleinAir Magazine (December 2022 – January 2023). The issue has been out for a while but I just received my copy in the mail.

It’s very cool to be included in this article along with my friends Jane Blundell, Suma CM and Jim Richards.


It’s a great read – and I hope it will inspire some Plein Air artists to take a minimal kit and a sketchbook out for a quick sketching session. 🙂

Lots of beautiful paintings and other interesting articles in the magazine as well.

BTW The image on the first page is from a tearoom visit last year in Morpeth and I also took a new updated photo of my sketching kit in October. See more here.
