An extremely exciting parcel arrived for me yesterday… my own dot cards sharing my favourite Daniel Smith watercolor palette. This is my extended palette so a few extras on this card to what I carry with me every day. For more details of my current kit (which includes two mixed greys) please click here or the image on the sidebar. Note: this is the palette I will be taking to Italy in a few days time.

Thank you Daniel Smith for this incredible honour!

I am not sure about availability as yet but they should be available free from anywhere that sells Daniel Smith paints soon.

Are you sure they will be free Liz? You usually have to buy Daniel Smith dot cards

You have to pay for the full range dot cards but the artists ones? I’ve never seen a price on them.

Congratulations, Liz! I will look for your dot card at my Jerry’s Artarama. And, btw, I’m super excited about Italy. See you soon!

Congratulations, Liz! I work at a Jerry’s Artarama and hope we can get in some of your cards. How fabulous.

From a shop insider — artist palette dot cards should be free for the asking, but if the distributor sends a limited number they may be set aside for sharing with local w/c guilds, etc. and not make it to the front counter. For those interested ask for them by name and, if there aren’t any available, be sure to leave your name and number for the purchaser or a manager to contact you about your interest. It may greatly better the odds of bringing one home.

    Hi,
Do you know where to buy these for cards ? Yours and other artists Dot cards ..
    I am in Europe( France).

    • Liz Steel says:

Have you googled them? I can’t get French listings as I’m in Australia but found that Jackson’s Art in the UK stock them. 🙂
