Here are most of my sketches from last week’s visit to Launceston to prepare and teach a 3 day travel sketching workshop. I have a number of ‘teaching pages’ (notated diagrams etc) that I will scan and send to the participants, but most of my demo sketches are included in this post.
I didn’t do a lot of sketching for myself as beforehand I was trying to prepare and conserve energy for teaching and on the last day I was exhausted! But here goes… just as they are!
More description to follow in a future post.

thank you Bristolstomp – yes, there is no better way. I don't always write what I read in my sketchbook, but I always start the day reading God's word
thank you Giddings! I don't always start the day with the sketch component of the page, but what I read normally gets recorded!
Liz, I love how you start out each day with a sketch and a bible verse! Can't think of a better way to start a day.
Your sketches are wonderful! I also love that you start your day with a Bible verse and a sketch.
Have loved seeing your sketches of my hometown Liz. I was disappointed that I was actually 'on the mainland' during your workshop otherwise I would have loved to have joined you all.
Your drawings have made me appreciate Launceston all over again!
