My blog posts in recent times are getting bigger than Ben Hur! I’m spending hours and hours putting each one together, and I know it takes you time to read my ramblings. So today I’m getting change the pace and just share a simple teacup sketch with you.
This sketch is of my old yellow cup that I have sketched many times. In fact I think it is the most sketched of all my cups. This gets is done on my favourite loose paper – Fabriano extra white hot press 300gsm – and stuck into a slightly random sketchbook page with a bit of collage. The full spread will be revealed in my met neck’s next “everyday pages” post which I’m aiming for next Monday.
That’s all I need to say today!

Lovely sketch Liz. Your use of color makes this so eye catching.
No matter what you do, you inspire me. This cup makes me smile and I can now start my day :-). –Vivian (San Francisco, California)
It's a beautiful cup, Liz! Thanks for sharing!
By the way, I also love to use the Fabriano 300 g paper. The water colours seem to "dance" over this beautiful paper!
