Hey everyone! I am back home after a wonderful break!
Here is a sneak peek at some of my quick sketches during my 12 day visit to Norfolk Island – it is such a beautiful place and perfect for sketching – still so much I didn’t get sketch so I will have to go back.
I have done a lot of relaxing and despite my limited quota of 3 x 30 min sketches per day have got quite a collection – ok… I went over the quota once or twice! I started with the Pentalic sketchbook (on top) but was finding the paper needed a different way of working and I was taking too long to do each sketch (not good for my need to rest my left hand!) so I started sketching loose sketches in the ‘notebook’ I had also packed – a Stillman and Birn A5 alpha. More about my adventures with these two books soon and in particular the challenges I had during the first few days.
Full reports of my adventures will start next week.
It was great to have a total break from social media but… it’s good to be back!!!
