A slow morning

September 5, 2019 | 4 Comments

This morning I wasn’t trying to paint a perfect sketch of a coffee cup, instead I just wanted to have a no pressure session playing with paint. I was also enjoying soaking up the sun as I sat at my usual table in my local cafe.

This week has been massive, getting everything ready for Lesson 1 of my new SketchingNow online course – Watercolour On Location. This is the fifth course I’ve put together and it’s my biggest one yet. I’ve have three very long but super productive days so it was nice to give myself the time to take it slow this morning. But, yes, I was already onto Lesson 2 – finishing it up for release next week.

The next 7 weeks are going to be ‘full-on’ for me, but there is nothing that I enjoy more than running an interactive course like this for the first time. There are no words to describe how much I love connecting with people and their work through my SketchingNow courses. But it is all consuming! So I’m not sure how much chance I will get to post here but I’ll do what I can.

See you around!

PS. If you are signed up for Watercolour On Location – thanks!

I hope you enjoy the first lesson and looking at Selection and Design. I love this topic and I hope you will have a lot of fun doing the exercises this week. See you in the classroom!

Liz, enjoy your slow morning, you deserve it! I am amazed about all the work involved in building Watercolour on Location Course. I was all excited to binge watch all the videos of lesson one. So, my morning will not be so slow… I have homeworks to do … lol Diane

Ooo, what ink do you have in your Eco, and is that what you used for the writing guide lines?
