A little out of character to take a month to post some of my sketches, isn’t it? Especially when they have been scanned for a few weeks! So anyway… here, finally are the sketches I did with Paul in the 1.5 days we had for sketching and ‘cafe hopping’ after the workshop!
I think all my notes explain it all… lots of art talk and workshop debrief, and planning for next time. Cafe visits, art store visits – including a visit to the Art Scene COFA(one of the sponsors of the workshop) and some architecture sketching. All lots of fun!
A green door in a yellow wall opposite the Fine Food Store, The Rocks
Gusto Cafe Paddington… we just happened to be talking about Genius Loci!
A great new tea place Ovvio Tea..and my annual fish and chips (rarely have it more than once a year)
Tuesday morning: Great breakfast and coffee (and then tea) and Single Origin Roasters and then final sketch on Reservoir St (sitting outside Tessuti Fabrics)

I know I should be amazed, by now, of how much you accomplished in 1.5 days but I am. Look at all these beautiful sketches! Looks like you two had a grand time, Liz.
ha ha! well… this is a 'light' day for me!
Hi Liz, we found your sketch of a view from The Fine Food Store today & loved it so much we shared it on our Facebook & tagged you – we hope that's okay! Here's link if you'd like to view & comment: https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Fine-Food-Store/110647992303055?fref=photo
