A little tea break

July 29, 2024 | 8 Comments

Just a quick article today to let you know that I’m going to have a little break from publishing here on the blog while I do the last-minute prep for filming my upcoming Travel Sketching course!

Find out about the new course here.

This is a loose sketch of Royal Albert Old Country Roses (one of my favourite teacups to paint) that was done quickly at the start of a workday.

See you sometime next week!

Always a favourite, tea looks so real.
I thoroughly enjoyed the teacups course plus watercolour and buildings.
The current cold snap has given me the perfect excuse to stay indoors and sketch so today it was my Alison Lester coffee mug and a small jar of lavender. Yesterday’s sketch was my view of distant hills and dramatic skies reminding me of the Harris hills exercise. Thanks Liz, your courses given me so much pleasure and I am continually learning and improving.
