Feel exhausted tonight..but have managed my sketch for the day! (in fact I have done two other sketches today- maybe that is why I am exhausted)
Glad for this challenge as it made me ‘see’ a tin for the first time and really look at it (rather than just looking at its contents!) Also glad that I have now sketched something that does have association without me realising it- this sketch makes that tin precious to me now!
And, I am a bit behind in replying to comments and checking everyones work…. but I will catch up soon! Hope everyone is still having fun!

This is part of the Everyday in May challenge – drawing something every day
in May. A group of us thought it would be fun to do a Everyday Matters (EDM)
challenge each day using EDM 1-31. The list is here
The Group that is going to give this a go (so far… let me know if you want to join in and be added to the list)

Liz, the tin is fascinating. Love the pattern. I wandered away from the list today for my EDM,oh well.
Happy Friday
Nice sketch and great story to go with it. It's funny how you have things that you don't see for so long, it happens to me too every now and then. Amazing.
This is a pretty tin and so well drawn. I guess those are your kitchen shelves down the left-hand-side, a nice touch.
Where on earth do you get your energy? I love this tin; it had pound cake in it? I also love that you have a pantry behind it…cool idea and a gorgeous little sketch!
what are you doing for June? can I play too?
