No… Not quite yet – just had to do a sketch from one of the many photos I took in October to celebrate finishing the big scanning posting job of the last 2 months. Yay!!! Another one of my scribbling end of the day relaxing sketches. I did put a bit of pencil down first but I then mainly ignore it and let my pen does what it wants to do!
Now I just need to find some time to create a Issuu book, a blurb book and do something with my multitude of photos.
But in the meantime I am doing something quite different over the summer holidays – a course with Mary Ann Moss called Remains of the Day in which we make a journal out of scrap paper. Security envelopes being a star features of many of Mary Ann’s journals. So I have been hanging out to try one out – here it is….
It was fun and I can’t wait to find out what I will do with the other side and what will appear through the window!
BTW… if scanning my sketches in the last few weeks has made me want to go back to Paris – how do you think I feel after doing this sketch!???!!
BTW 2 – I just remembered what document came in this particular security envelope and it is a good prompt for me to go and pay my car insurance now… or maybe tomorrow!
